Location the Steam instalation folder for the game Praetorians, in my case, the path is: C:Program FilesSteamSteamAppscommonPraetorians2. Copy the whole folder Praetorians from the path above and paste it to C:Games, so you will have C:GamesPraetorians3.

Open Game Ranger, go the menu Edit Options, select the game Praetorians in the list of games, then click 'Browse' and select the new path for the game Praetorians, C:GamesPraetoriansPraetorians.exe.The problem is happening because of conflicts between Steam Client and Game Ranger. When you try to start Praetorians using Game Ranger, it will try to start Steam client too, since the game was installed into the Steam folder, so the Steam starts monitoring the.exe and blocks some commands from Game Ranger client.I tried the above solution with another Steam user and it worked just fine in that case, I hope it works for you too.My guess is that Steam Client was not improved to work wih Praetorians game correctly.
